Our story
Good Results, squared.
That is what BR2 stands for — Bons Resultados, ao quadrado in Portuguese — and it is where the numeral inside each of our five marks comes from. Not an abbreviation: an exponent.
A name that is an equation
A good result for the company that hires us, and a good result for the person on the receiving end — the board that has to decide, the team that has to understand, the patient who has to trust. When both happen, the outcome does not add up. It multiplies.
That same numeral became the visual system: projected on the screen in the BOARD mark, interlocked in the circles of ENGAGE, the hand of the clock in NOW, the pivot of the scale in LEGAL, the stroke that becomes a stethoscope in MED.
Founded in 2008
BR2 started in São Paulo as an integrated communication agency, doing what agencies did then: advertising, point of sale, packaging, branding, editorial, digital.
It began under a different name — BR2 Design — and the name described the work accurately at the time. The scope grew before the name did. Clients who came for a piece started asking for the argument behind it; clients who came for a layout started asking for the reasoning first. At some point 'design' described less than the work already was.
Becoming Agência BR2 recorded what was already true, and allowed the offer to be organised into divisions with their own audience and language.
The quiet turn
What happened next was not a repositioning decision. It was an observation.
The requests changed. Less campaign, more executive presentation. Less point of sale, more training material. And the deadline kept shortening — from weeks to days, then to hours. Thursday at five for Friday at ten. Convention on Monday. Board meeting tomorrow.
The agency adapted one job at a time until availability stopped being an exception and became culture. BR2 did not decide to become a critical-deadline agency. It discovered it already was.
Ten years is the number that matters
Over eighteen years: more than 3,000 projects for hundreds of clients. But the number that says the most is not volume — it is that the average client relationship runs about ten years.
A competitor can write tomorrow that they are also senior and fast. They cannot manufacture a decade of working together.
The longest is Ekantika, a business and corporate learning consultancy: more than 3,000 projects across nine uninterrupted years, with BR2 operating as their in-house creative function.
Most of our portfolio sits under NDA — board decks, restructuring announcements, merger material. We show it live, in a meeting, with the context attached. Publishing it would break exactly what makes clients trust us.
Who leads it
BR2 is led by Marcelo Azengo, founding partner and CEO, who also runs client service. Educated at Mackenzie, PMP-certified in project management, with prior roles at TV Cultura, Conectt and Fundação Telefônica Vivo.
That combination explains more than any values statement. Committing to a date on high-consequence material is not a matter of willingness — it is project method applied to a creative craft.
Next step
Eighteen years fit into a thirty-minute conversation.
That is where the portfolio appears: live, with context, without breaking anyone's confidentiality.
